We are delighted to have partnered with BT in another exciting and transformative initiative, through their Innovation Lab programme, which is designed to engage with startups and encourage open innovation, through a number of events and competitions. This programme was aimed at discovering business transformation solutions in the Internet of Things. The programme attracted entries from almost 100 SMEs from the UK and overseas with several themes emerging around the potential application of future IoT based technologies.
The two winners, Start-up Disruptive Technologies from Norway and established company Invisible Systems from Cumbria, were chosen following a Dragon's Den style pitch event held at the BT Tower in London. As well as access to BT's award winning research and development labs in Adastral Park, Ipswich, the two winners will receive a six month membership to TechHub's global entrepreneur community, which provides their members comprising of startups and scale ups with a physical workspace, whilst offering an educational support programme designed to help tech businesses grow.
