So, over to Fiona...

1. What is your expertise?

My background is marketing and business development but the only thing I can claim to be a true expert in is being me - for better or worse.

2. Tell us what a normal day for you looks like.

Kids, work, beach repeat.

3. How long have you been involved in Tech?

I started down the slippery slope in my early twenties when I joined BT. I tried to stay a fluffy marketeer but I couldnt resist the draw of the amazing possibilities of tech and the positive disruption it can cause.

4. What does your company do? create personalised books for young children using their photo and name, making them the star of their own story. They make a great stocking filler ;)

5. What role do you have now and how long have you been in it?

It is just me in the business so I do everything which can make team meetings rather confusing.

6. How did you end up in your current role?

I grew up in Swansea where I fell in love with the sea. After 14 years down in London I finally gave in to the call of the ocean and moved back. I left my job with BT and had a mad impulse to set up my own business.

7. Whats the most rewarding thing about your job, what makes it all worthwhile?

The feedback from my customers about how much the kids love seeing themselves in their books and having the freedom to run my business in my own way.

8. What are your greatest achievements to date?

Finishing the Inca trail on three bowls of soup and building my house.

9. What do you do when youre not in work?

Anything near the sea, on the sea or in the sea.

10. Which area do you live in and how long have you been living there?

By the sea of course for two fantastic years.

11. What would you like to see happen to your Tech Scene immediately and in the future?

Id love to see a more creative and tech minds coming together. I believe that the more diverse the skills you bring together in teams the more innovative the results can be.

12. If you had to recommend one book, film or game to me, what would it be and why?

The Jungle Book - It just makes you happy.

13. Name three things you would take with you on a foreign holiday.

Family. Snorkel. Great book.

14. Mac, Linux or PC?

Mac all the way.

15. Xbox, PS4, or PC (or other)?

None because I spend my life trying to get my kids off them!

16. What is your claim to fame?

Ive been charged at by the largest land and sea mammal in one holiday - and Im glad to be here to tell you about it!

17. If they made a film of your life, who would play you?

Hopefully an elderly actress as I want to get in a few more years yet.

18. Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?

Eckhart Tolle - so he can help me stay present and stop my mind from doing its usual acrobatics.

19. Tell us something about yourself that people wouldnt expect.

I went to the same school as the president of Perus granddaughter.

20. What's your superpower, or what's your spirit animal?

I was lucky enough to meet my spirit animal when I was in the Galapagos as a child - giant turtle every time - they are amazing.
