Announces First Speakers and First Limited Tickets
The startup season in Europe starts with TechChill, the tech event famous for its parties and community in Riga. In 2017, the event will expand across two days on February 9-10, with the best and most talented startups and expecting more than 1000 participants. Along with announcing the first speakers, TechChill is opening up the first limited tickets for a few days only.
TechChill has earned a reputation as the best insider event in the Baltics for meeting and networking, as it boasts 80% startups, investors and tech freelancers from the Baltics, Nordics and CIS among its participants. The next event will take place on 9-10 February in Riga for the 6th year, with founder experience stories and industry leaders from the Baltics to Silicon Valley, and a focus on the startup experience.
“TechChill was born in the Riga startup community, and this is the place where we meet each year. As the startup scene has grown, so have we, but our aim is still the same – to bring together the best startups and tech talent from the Baltics, offer a chance to network with media and global investors, exchange ideas, and discuss what really matters for startups,” says Marija Rucevska, CEO of TechChill. The team behind TechChill is non-profit TechHub Riga, the heart, soul, and the first homebase of most startups from Latvia. It aims to support local startups and help them grow to global success.
A very limited amount of Insider Pass tickets for TechChill 2017 are available starting from Thursday, July 14, 2016 until sold out, for a flash sale price of 45€, on a first-come-first-serve basis. StartupWiseGuys Riga powered by Lattelecom will host a startup mentorship program during the week, with open classes on February 9 and the finalist Pitch Battle during TechChill 2017. In cooperation with the Latvian Startup association (Startin.LV), the tech conference will be preceded by Riga Venture Summit on February 9, the meeting place of Baltic government leaders, policy makers, investors and startup industry movers to discuss the best practices to support innovation and technology entrepreneurship. In addition, the Latvian Business Angel Network (LatBAN) in cooperation with Latvian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LVCA) will host their annual Investor of the Year 2017 awards the same day.
TechChill is the coolest tech and startup insider event of the season, organised by the non-profit foundation TechHub Riga, the home of startups in Latvia.
