TechChill Baltics 2016, the winter’s hottest startup conference, returns on February 11th, offering the amazing stories and an opportunity to meet tech entrepreneurs, investors and media from Europe and the USA. As of today, applications are open for the startup pitch battle that will begin with one intense mentoring and pitch training day on February 10th and a pitch by the best teams on the TechChill Baltics 2016 big stage in front of an exclusive 400 people crowd.

The pitch battle is an important part of the conference, amongst its previous winners are such startups as Infogr.am, Bliu Bliu, TrackDuck and Edurio, who have together raised more than EUR 2.5m in venture and angel investment. This year, as TechChill Baltics celebrates its 5th anniversary, we bring a new format to this pitch competition. The best 10 teams among the applicants will be selected for the TechHub Riga Academy, which takes place on February 10th and offers a one-day bootcamp in pitching, business development and marketing. At the end of that day, the Academy’s mentors panel, made up of experienced industry experts, will nominate the 5 best startups to pitch on stage in the final TechChill Baltics pitch battle.
Applications are eligible from startups that fit the following criteria:
- have a working prototype - mobile app, marketplace, social network, gadget or any other product/ service that is IT and tech-related;
- are at the seed financing stage looking for EUR 100,000+ investment;
- are ready to conquer global markets;
- are ready to learn and gain new knowledge.
