The coolest and most content-driven startup and IT conference TechChill Baltics 2015 is approaching on February 10th, gathering startups, investors, students and technology enthusiasts from both Europe and the USA. Starting today the startups can apply to the Pitch Contest, check the agenda and book a demo booth at the conference venue, Palladium concert hall. In addition, the strategic partner of the conference Lattelecom will broadcast the conference online on Lattelecom Television.
TechChill Baltics takes over Riga for the fourth year, and this time the main topic is startup growth-hacking and operations, offering keynotes and panel discussions on growth, recruiting, financing, scaling and team management. Also, startups can apply to the Pitch Contest for a chance to pitch their business to a jury of investors and the whole TechChill crowd, thus opening doors to new markets and clients. Among the previous years winners are Infogr.am, Bliu Bliu and also TrackDuck, who closed a 275,000$ investment round right after winning the contest last year. Among the speakers are George Berkowski (IceCream, author of How to build a billion dollar app, HAILO), Joe Cohen (Sofar Sounds, Seatwave, Match.com), Jonathan Bradford (Techstars in London), Cristobal Alonso (Telenor Denmark), David Bizer (Talent Fountain), Andrew Hoag (Ferocia, Startup Institute, Urbantag), Ramon Recuero Moreno (Moz, Zynga), and Toms Baugis (Parsely).
TechChill Baltics also keeps the tradition of offering demo booths to startups. Booths are available for booking by writing to email address: firstname.lastname@example.org. During the whole day of the conference demo booths will let startups to advertise their product, make new partnerships, search for clients and talk to potential investors. The conference offers two types of demo booths:
- The Hall booth (350�) on the first floor, letting startups to follow presentations and discussions. Number of booths � 5.
- The 2nd floor booth (250�) at the chill zone on the second floor, letting startups network and present their products in a more silent environment. Number of booths � 4.
Each booth will have a workspace, access to WiFi and power, as well will include 2 free startup tickets to TechChill Baltics.
TechChill Baltics is hosted by TechHub Riga, the first and biggest IT and tech co-working space in Riga, gathering more than 30 startups under one roof and regularly organizing the events related to startups, entrepreneurship and technology, such as monthly Meetups and TechHub Startup Academy. In addition, the strategic partner Lattelecom, along with the live broadcasting on Lattelecom television, Lattelecom Internet and Interactive television, will provide fast WiFi at Palladium concert hall, the venue of TechChill Baltics. To strengthen the potential of Latvia�s innovations, Lattelecom already supports TechHub Riga, providing the optical Internet at the new premises of the foundation. Lattelecom creates and implements innovations aimed at maintaining the leading position in the industry and providing its customers with wider opportunities for innovations for modern life. Lattelecom has set up the data storage website eDati.lv for convenient storage of photos, video files and other data. Lattelecom also provides the remote meter reading service Lattelecom Telemetry. At present, telemedicine solutions, as well as Lattelecom gaming platform are under development.
