Team-Match, Virtually Free and Tonguesten accepted to Wayra

Huge congratulations to members Team-Match for securing a space at Wayra accelerator programme last week. Going head-to-head with over 500 other startups in a fierce competition for one of only thirteen places, Team-Match is the first company in the UK to get in with a unanimous vote from all 10 judges, which included Microsoft Ventures & Mastercard. They will soon be joining what is becoming a long list of alumni (and current!) TechHub members who have been trough the Wayra programme to date. The list includes startups such as GoCarShare, hiyalife, Narrato, Platter and PixelPin - all of them now all proudly wearing both TechHub and Wayra badge of honour.

Team-Match describe themselves as a ground breaking new web application that helps companies build better teams and improve the performance of existing teams with visual analytics and matchmaking technology. Wanting to become THE place where teams come together, and a key online resource for self discovery and personal development, they're drawing on the latest insights from personality theory, occupational psychology, and management literature. They're currently in live beta (used in universities), and working on the enterprise version.

Also accepted in Wayra's 2014 programme, are TechHubers Virtually Free who are working on developing games and gamification designed to improve mental health problems, and a music/film/text platform for learning languages and literacy skills, powered by original artificial intelligence and metadata, Tonguesten. Big congratulations to all!

On a side note, Team-Match are also recruiting for a talented UI designer who can help them build a beautiful user experience to be proud of. If that's you, get in touch and join a great team!
