Since launching in Swansea a mere 4 months ago, TechHub Wales has been enjoying great success' - 4 months, nearly 40 members and over 20 startups things are looking good by the bay!
So what's been going on?
Fuzmo � Fuzmo finished their first round of funding on platform Seedrs with over �55,000 and have since gone on to attract more funding and exposure. The guys have moved into TechHub full time and are just starting the development of their iOS and Android apps!
Johnny on the Spot � Johnny on the spot launched into the app store little over two weeks ago and are enjoying great success with 350 downloads to date, a cheeky feature on the sports app page and gaining great media coverage from newspapers and blogs such as this one and this one.
In My School � In My School, winners of Swansea�s startup weekend, the guys then went on to place in the top 20 in the BT infinity challenge. The app for connecting families and teachers, it is now testing and is looking to be launched into its first school within the month.
BconCC� BconCC is enjoying huge success at the moment, David (founder) recently won the NHS hackday 2014 with BconCC and is now stocking the product in cycle shops around Swansea. Bcon Stickers are QR codes (barcodes for smartphones) that fit onto your extreme sports equipment. They contain information to help first responders act quickly and effectively, should they discover an accident.
Adlet � Adlet was formed out of the Start-Up weekend and went on to win the women�s circle of the global startup battle sponsored by Coca Cola. Emma (Founder) and the team are now to be flown to America to get mentoring and support from executives at Coca Cola.
