Michelle: my last week with TechHub

Dear all,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I say my time has come to move on to pastures new. More specifically, my last day as a member of the TechHub team is Friday 24th Jan, so if you have any queries then please get them in now. Until a suitable replacement has been found, emails addressed to me after Friday 24th will auto-forward to both Doug and Shaun, and they will have access to my inbox to see what was previously discussed. So there should be a smooth transition!

I want to thank the members and you all for having been a huge part of my life for nearly 3 years, and of course to the Manchester members whove welcomed me and my London ways with many offers of tea and have borne TechHub Manchesters teething problems with an easy going attitude and a big smile. You're a huge credit to the growing community "Oop North" and there's no doubt that something special is happening up here. I hope my insistence at feeding you all cakes and biscuits went some way in making my passive-aggressive notes a little more palatable :)

And thank you to the fantabulous teams who work feverishly hard behind the scenes at TechHubs London and Manchester. You know who you are when you've kept me sane, accepted my OCD-ish behaviour, heard my rants, and borne my running around with aplomb.

Particular thanks go to Elizabeth Varley and Tina Phillips, who saw potential in me and gave me this wonderful opportunity. I'll never forget wearing those shoulder-length gloves in the men's, nor trying to master the invoicing system because Rudi decided to make an early appearance. All in my first week!

Whatever your location, you TechHubbers and TechHub followers are a wonderful bunch and Ive been incredibly fortunate to have known you and even call some of you friends. If youd like to stay in touch, catch me on Twitter and Skype at @MishNhan, or connect with me on LinkedIn. I'd love to keep watch of how your startups progress and (of course) still shout out about your successes.

And just because I won't be part of TechHub, it doesn't mean I won't be interested in tech! I'll be moving on to join the team at ed-tech company 4D creative to assist with admin and finance, and I absolutely want to stay in touch with as many of you as can put up with me. All fingers and toes that can be spared at this busy time will be crossed in anticipation of meeting you again in future.

I wish you all the very best!

Much love,

Mish x
