Already tomorrow TechChill Baltics 2015 opens the door if you have not booked a ticket yet but want to be a part of the coolest conference at this time of the year, you can get one here. In the mean time, our grand speakers share some thoughts on the startup world.
Our speaker David Bizer will reveal the tricks of hiring. He is a partner at Talent Fountain and pioneer in global internet recruiting with a unique bi-continental background discovering talent from Silicon Valley to the technology hubs of Europe. In 15 years David has helped more than 4000 IT professionals in more than 25 countries find a job, and in 2003 he was named the first European recruiter at the tech grand Google. Prior to Talent Fountain, David was also the Chief Talent Geek with HackFwd. David was responsible for identification and evaluation of talent for eventual investment. In addition, David crafted the curriculum for the portfolio companies and advised on a broad range of topics covering almost every aspect of startup growth.
What are the 2 most important things one must know about successful startup operations and growth?
Of course I'm extremely biased, but I believe the most important thing about startup operations and growth is the team - easy to say, amazingly difficult to execute. What's the second? The team.
In your opinion, what will be the most interesting things that will happen in 2015 in the world of startups?
I have absolutely no idea! :-) I'm optimistic we will see some big exits in Europe.
Please tell us, why should people attend TechChill Baltics 2015?
The speaker list looks great. I'm excited to meet new people and see old friends. Who wouldn't want to come to Riga in February! :-)
