Do you love digital media? Do you have a fantastic idea that will change the media world forever? TechHub Riga welcomes applications to the very first Digital Media Startup Academy that will take place on August 22 � 24th in Riga, Zala street 1.
What�s Academy? It is a free 3-day intensive training bootcamp where digital media startups get momentum and a boost for their growth and development. Participants get lectures, 1-on-1 sessions and workshops, mentoring and networking sessions that focus on global media trends, digital marketing, startups and pitching and help them improve their ideas.
TechHub Riga is calling for those brilliant digital media minds out there and is ready to give invaluable knowledge in return. Among mentors and presenters there are Uldis Leiterts, Egils Boitmanis, Jessica Andersson, Patrik Jansson, Andris K. Berzins, Jarmo Kuusivuori and Arturs Mednis. Are you willing to receive the tools that will show your future in digital media?
To apply, you can submit either team or individual application.
Team criteria: - You come from the region (Northern Europe and Poland); - You have a concrete idea or already working startup in digital media (for example, content and consumer businesses, and e-commerce); - You have a team of motivated individuals who are not afraid to be entrepreneurs (if you require additions to your team, specify the skills); - You are confident about the quality of your idea and ability to scale globally; - You have completed online application form.
To cover a bigger scope of digital media enthusiasts, Academy is also open for individual applications, that are evaluated based on the competences, required by the teams selected to the Academy. Be aware that the individuals participate in all 3 days if the selected teams accept these individuals in their teams on day one.
Individual criteria: - You come from the region (Northern Europe and Poland); - You have competences that are valued in digital media; - You have completed online application form.
Deadline to apply is on August 15th, and the accepted teams and individuals will be announced on August 18th. Up to 10 teams and limited number of individuals (based on their skills and teams� needs) will be selected, and their evaluation will be made by TechHub Riga judge panel. No accommodation provided. The working language of the Academy will be English.
