BuzzMyVideos, the first European YouTube Network and a TechHub startup have last week been confirmed as the only Campus startup selected for the prestigious Blackbox Connect event. A total of only 16 startups from all around the world were selected for the programme that offers a unique opportunity for non-US startups to access resources and scale globally during a two-week immersion program. BlackBox Connect is a 2-week Silicon Valley immersion program that allows founders to get inspired, grow and connect with the top VC's and game changers in the Valley and a space where international founders build global companies with Silicon Valley resources.
Eze Vidra, head of Campus London & Google for Entrepreneurs, tweeted this at the time.
Paola Marinone, BuzzMyVideos founder and director, told us:
"We are extremely happy to be among the 16 selected startups on a global scale. This is a very big achievement for the team and will push us to grow more and more our already ambitious plan for BuzzMyVideos. Blackbox Connect will surely be an amazing opportunity to improve our company growth and we are thankful to Google Campus, Google for Entrepreneurs and TechHub. From the Silicon Roundabout to Silicon Valley; here we come!"
Founders will now come to the Blackbox Mansion, Silicon Valley for the two week program and they will be given the opportunity to live and collaborate with like-minded entrepreneurs from all around the world and take part in an intense agenda of meetings and workshops with entrepreneurs, investors, experts and executives. All the accepted startups must have launched a technology based MVP and gathered feedback from early adopter/customers. Ideally - but not required - a startup should have raised some investment capital, have a team between 3 to 20 people and have a product or service that can be launched globally.
Congratulations girls and boys - and have a blast!
