TechHub teamed up with the Cabinet Office and our awesome partners, BT Infinity Lab for the �Digital Innovation for the Public Sector� award, with a First Prize of �15,000 plus six months of BT support AND membership at TechHub�s sold-out innovation space in the heart of London�s Tech City, everyone was clamouring for the win.
Seven startups were invited to BT Tower on 26 March to showcase their innovative ideas that supported public services to a panel including BT experts, TechHub CEO & Co-founder, Elizabeth Varley, and Stephen Allott and James Hall, Crown Representatives for the Cabinet Office.
Babylon, scooped First Prize with their app that provides virtual consultations with highly qualified top doctors, along with cutting edge monitoring and diagnostics, one-tap appointment booking and prescription delivery. They convinced the judges that the world�s first fully integrated mobile healthcare service will absolutely change lives. Their app provides an end-to-end service, from helping people to diagnose a health condition to virtual consultations with top doctors, appointment booking and prescription delivery supported by secure access to clinical records.
